Snow in July! Oh my!

note: This post is from last Thursday.

Today we went to Winter Summerland. (aka Blizzard Beach) It is a snow-themed waterpark within the Disneyland complex. It's actually a pretty cool waterpark, as far as waterparks go. To get to the tallest slides, you have to take a ski-lift to the top of the mountain. Afterwards, we hopped back in the motorhome and drove to Saint Augustine, Florida. We'll be going through the castillo there tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!!!!!!! This is a special day, hope you do something you can remember where you turned 15 years old. We really miss not seeing you for your actual birthday. But we did celebrate your entrance to the world before you left. Your Grammy J and I are enjoying your take on the trip. I can tell you are wearing down a little. It is probably the humidity. It takes the water right out of you. Drink plenty of liquids and you will be perky again.

Your grammy and I have been up and down your hill checking on the pool. When we took a water sample to Lesslie's he prescribed a regiment of adding muradic acid every 4 hours. We just finished the 5 cups of MA and took the water sample in. The numbers have changed but they still recommend the same regiment and add a bag of salt. So that started yesterday. I got tired of the creepy crawler stuck on the drain so I took scuba gear and installed a flat drain. The CC flies right over and keeps going. I noticed the CC doesen't make it to the top of the pool and thus the top 4 feet don't get cleaned. I'm going to let you guys take care of that one when you get back.

Enough about pool maintenance. We hae been watching the storms in the East and figured your going to spend much of your time in the rain. We have also had thunder storms and rain in Barstow that swept cars off the road and left people stranded in 3' of water. We got a little rain but Glendora got pounded with an 1" in 20 minuets. That pretty much catches you up with us. Love you and we pray for a safe trip back - Grammy and Grandpa J
